Our Board is made up of staff from our practices.

It is important to us that we have the right team, culture and relationships in place, to deliver programmes of work and initiatives which help practices deliver their priorities in a lean and agile way.

Chair

Dr David Hogan

Dr Hogan is a GP at Hadleigh Practice in Broadstone, Dorset, one of the twelve practices that form part of the Castleman group and Clinical Director for Poole North PCN. He was elected by the Castleman Board in June 25 and is now ready to guide the organisation through its next chapter.

Vice Chair

Dr Christina Hawkins

Christina is a Partner at the Harvey Practice in Broadstone and she provides additional clinical representation on the Board. Christina supports with the overall governance as well as shaping and delivering our existing and new clinical services.

Chief Executive Officer

Fiona Cleary

Fiona is Castleman’s CEO and leads on contract management as well as supporting the PCNs with business and management advice. She has a wealth of experience at senior levels across the health and education sectors including both private and public sector organisations

Non Executive Director

Bharti Patel

Bharti Patel has over 25 years of experience at board-level in the public and private healthcare sectors.
Her expertise spans NHS commissioning, acute and community service provision, homecare, national and independent retail pharmacy, global medical technology solutions and life sciences, equipping her with a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape.

Director of Human Resources

James Leyland

James is Practice Manager at Canford Heath Group Practice in Poole and has been in his practice for 25 years. James leads on HR as well as supporting the Board with high level business input and contract management of the Public Health contract.

Director of Finance, Company Secretary

Fiona Pickering

Fiona is the Managing Business Partner for The Harvey Practice and previously worked for Dorset CCG in a variety of different roles. She is interested in NHS contracting, commissioning and finance.

Director of Operations

Sarah Faulkner

Sarah is a Practice Manager at Walford Mill in Wimborne. She leads on the delivery of the ICPCS service for Castleman including the Diabetes and Respiratory services, as well as supporting the development of future Castleman projects.
